Switching up the contests--Poetry Contest.

Were having a photo contest, and then I got the bright idea, why not have a poetry contest for once?

The first poetry contest theme will be: Shaksperian Style Sonnets

I know now your saying OMG :eek what is that? But don't worry, it's pretty simple. Basically you write 3 quatrains (four lines) that rhyme with every other line, and then you close with two final lines that both rhyme, take this one I wrote for example:

To be lost is to be forgotten
To be remembered is to be brought back
To be dead is to become rotten
To be loved is to remember what we had

Thinking of why they have left you
You will forget the wonders you could remember
Forgetting is to lose, it’s true
They want to be remembered as they were

Remember now, don’t forget pain
Because more then that will be lost
Forgetting memories will drive you insane
Not worth it at any cost


Remember the love, underneath tears
Because they do not leave, no one disappears

For those of you more familular with Shakespearean Sonnets, don't worry about Iambic Pentameter, were leaving that out for now! haha!

I'm not sure if this is going to take off or not, so I won't feel bad if there is no interest

But to enter you must:

1. Write a poem in Shakespearean Style Sonnet, that is 100% yours and original.
2. PERSONAL MESSAGE! (PM) it to me
3. Enter 1'000 tokenz for an entrance fee
4. Entry due date is February 1
5. Keep it anonymous, don't post it somewhere else on the board or tell anyone which one is yours after the contest has started.

On February first I will start a poll with all the entrances, winners will be picked 48 hours after this poll has started. The winner will receive all the entrance fees from the other competitors.
