Yeah - they really think we believe the "It's only a satellite" story?
Just because they're stupid, does not mean the rest of the world is as well.
We have ICBM's that can travel from Downtown Little Rock to Downtown Moscow in 21 minutes, North Korea is a bit closer.
So what happens if they fire it up?
Japan already said they will intercept it and destroy it.
What happens next is up to the UN.
It won't be good for NK, I know that much.

NK brings absolutely nothing to the world. They would not be missed if we nuked them. The problem with firing a nuke to get rid of them, gives everyone else permission to fire nukes.

My concern that is in a time of desperation for NK, they will get in bed with China. I don't have an issue with blowing up China, but I really am tired of war. I'm an OEF veteran, war is no fun.
I totally agree. But I thought NK had been in bed with China a very long time ago. The Korean war was evidence of that. I think China has a great deal of control over NK as it is.

Yeah, it seems to be coming to a head. But then we've been through this type of thing before. One can only hope it will subside over time. But some things don't and then everyone gets stupid and a lot of people die.

I do think it would be good for us to wage total war on a problematic country though. It would in a sense keep countries like Russia or N. Korea from seeing how far they can push things.

I wouldn't call what we did in Iraq total war. We were merciful. Total war is like Sherman's march to the sea. Completely wipe out and destroy anything in your path/country. This I believe is the only way to wage a war,and because we are so concerned civilian casualties we are still in Iraq.
Japan will only react 'if' it threatens there country, bearing in mind the rocket will burn off in stages and stage one will drop over the skies of japan there is a lot of tension but if its not a threat then nothing will come of it
