Okay heres the deal I figured i'd post this little series of a short story i've been writing for a few weeks now so i'd like it if anyone possible could read it and give feed back right now I have 15 parts of this story so bare with me while I post them...heres the first one...kinda the introduction...thanks..

"Street Kings" The Underground Street Racing Saga.

(Part 1) The Begining
I for some reason never really liked Domestic "muscle cars". I considered myself an import type of guy. I went to a school called Holmes in San Antonio Texas. I was 17 years old and just got my liscence after 9 months of Driving School and learning the extra's of driving fast with my dad. That Saturday I was driving to work in my moms 1999 Chevy Suburban when I passed by a house that was selling a 1996 honda civic si for 2500 dollars it looked slammed, but I didn't stop, being a high school kid with limited funds didn't really encourage me to stop. The next day I had an arguement with my mom about the use of her Suburban, she ended up taking me to work. We saw the Civic again and this time stopped. I checked the Civic out completely it looked stock but when i opened the hood it was B16 engine with a single vtec and fox cam shaft, turbocharged with a Hooker header, a skunk2 cold air intake, Greddy exhaust cat free, Greddy T35 ball bearing turbo and MSD ignition, WTF! It was gutted inside no back seats one racing seat and regular SI passenger really stock besides a flip out pioneer screen and a new Tachometer and upgraded gauges that had a speedo reading of 150, also I checked if the springs were burnt but they weren't it was a billet spring and coil over kit that made the civics stance. The man seemed rushed to sell it though he said he would take 2000 straight up right now for the car. My mom of course said she would think about it and dropped me off at work. At work I couldn't stop thinking about the car. When I got off I noticed my older brother Gene picked me up. The first and only thing he said was, "your lucky!". I paid no attention to him I could hardly hear him over his engine, he was driving a 1993 Cobra R Mustang. One of the nicest cars i've seen around but he wasn't into the whole underground street racing scene that was making alot of noise. I got home and saw the garage door opened then as we got closer was shut quickly. I knew something was up. My other brother Tony who was an avid street racer said welcome to the club he opened the garage door and my dad was standing next to the same Black Honda Civic SI Turbo'd. I was shocked my dad got it being a Chevy man himself the thought of him buying an Import was crazy but he did for me. I told him I would pay him back but he said this is your Christmas and Birthday presents for the next few years, I agreed. The next morning I took it to school and of course got attention right off the bat. First from my friends Luis who had a 1995 GSR Acura Integra with a 100 shot ZEX nitrous setup, a skunk2 cold air intake, a borla cat free exhaust, light weight flywheel and pulleys, and an LSD transmission with a stage two clutch, Aaron who drove his dads 1993 Toyota MR2 single Turbo pretty much stock except for a K&N cold air intake, Cecelio with a 1994 Nissan Maxima with a DOHC straight six suped up with headers, port and polished heads, high end throttle body, twin comp racing cams and a K&N cold air intake, Oscar drove his dads 1997 Chevy Camaro Z28 with full Flowmaster exhaust setup, K&N intake, a hydraulic Comp cam and stage two clutch and Robert who didn't have a car yet. They of course wanted to know where I got it and I told them. They said I stole it from that guy which i agreed for the price it was a deal. Then came the girls then the haters because of the girls. I met one that kinda liked me more than the car her name was Stephanie a Senior when I was a junior but she had a boyfriend at the time that was just kicked off a car club called The Night Kids or TNK for short because he wrecked his car in an unsanctioned underground event in a different city. The guy never liked me but I could kinda tell that his girl might have a different opinion about me, but at the time I really wasn't looking for a commitment unless it was to my car. It was so much already to take in for just one Monday. I really couldn't wait until the weekend to show off my new ride to the cities finest.

ok read it... Now firstly, I'm not into the whole car scene of things so Ill just keep it honest as you said you are looking for feed back...:)

I think to a young lad buying his first car, that they would likely relate to this.

Its highly descriptive of the parts involved with the car and some of the feelings the character is working through as he waits to see IF his mother will buy it for him.:thumbup

ok?
