Sharing stories keeps family traditions alive. Do you exchange personal or cultural stories with your children or elders? How do these storytelling moments shape identity and strengthen bonds in your family?

We have a storytelling tradition in our family. Every generation tells a story to the new generation. This story is mostly about how the ancestors migrated to the current place, what they endured etc.

Storytelling has been the major way that cultural values were passed down in my culture. But it seems the art of storytelling is dying off with the woke generation.

Yes, we share personal and cultural stories regularly. These moments connect us to our roots, teach values, and spark meaningful conversations. Listening to elders and passing down experiences also shapes our identity, making family bonds stronger and giving younger generations a sense of belonging.
