Following a violent thunderstorm, artist David Drayton and a small town community come under vicious attack from creatures prowling in a thick and unnatural mist. Local rumors point to an experiment called the 'The Arrowhead Project' conducted at a nearby top-secret military base, but questions as to the origins of the deadly vapor are secondary to the group's overall chances for survival. Retreating to a local supermarket, Drayton and the survivors must face-off against each other before taking a united stand against an enemy they cannot even see.

This movie is fucking amazing. I know I say that about a lot of movies, but this one blew me away. I won't explain anything about it, because going into a movie like this blind is really the best, but I normally don't like these types of movies, and I still loved it. The ending was insane, and I never expected it. Thomas Jane really does do an awesome job in this film. If you're thinking about going to see this movie, I highly suggest it!

Here's a good review of the film(No spoilers)- Early Review: Glowing Look at Dimension's 'The Mist' - BLOODY-DISGUSTING.COM

probably the most fucked up ending of any movie I have ever seen. It will leave you in awe, I promise, and you will not see it coming.

that being said, it's also easily one of the best horror movies I have ever seen.
