finished raking the front yard... in my travels I was picking up a ton of twigs, sticks and pieces of the roof. (bits of shingles) tomorrow will do the backyard. never have gone from winter to spring raking, but the yard looked ugly. heading to Home depot tonight or tomorrow for some leaf bags and some grass feed...
 
I feel ya! Moved a bunch of dirt out of my yard yesterday, cleaned up the dog poo, and picked up the various pieces of newspaper that have been blowing around our neighborhood. I organized my shed and pulled out the mower for the first time this year. What have I started??? I also did some over-seeding of the lawn. Needless to say, I woke up this morning and oh my goodness was I sore! I'm not in bad shape physically, but realized how out of shape I really am. I went from 34 to 84 in one night!

Anyways...I'm glad spring is finally here and that I can finally get out of the house. I really enjoy building things and taking care of my house when the weather permits! My boys absolutely love finally being able to get outside. They have been like house cats pacing back and forth in a window.
 
Yea! Joe happens to have Sat., Sunday and Monday off so we are working on the property all those days. Suppose to be nice Saturday, nice until late Sunday and we will see Monday. Hopefully we can get our fence done around our one acre of property so we don't have to constantly worry our two hyper dogs will wander into the street or other property!

I don't know if I will get paid for Monday but I think I will ask for it off if they do pass the budget in the next 9 hours.
 
I live smack in the middle of a 300 acre tobacco farm, so when the boys fire up the tractors and start in the fields the dirt and pollen runs rampant here! The next month or so is going to be a sniffle-and-snot-fest around my house.

WOOHOO! Haha. Oh no worries. The glasses never come off or I would be stumbling all over the place. Will you cook for me too? If so you can fill out a substitute husband form if you would like. He will be gone for another 3 weeks or so. I need someone to fill in until then.

sure....come on over and keep us company...we have nothing going on here either! plus you could help me write some papers for skool.....don't forget your uniform...;);););););)
