speaking software..

my wife bought me Dragon naturally speaking software today and now I'm not using my keyboard to do this thread. I find it to be very interesting in using the software and I just finished my homework for one of my classes by just speaking into the microphone. I'll have to say this much: this is a lot of fun and literally if you speak your mind it will say what you're saying. I'm having a little too much fun right now dictating this thread. Although when my dogs bark on my microphone asked me to repeat the word I just said. I would highly recommend getting this software.

Good lord, how much is it roughly? I'm pretty impressed by that

I wouldn't use it here but I can already think of one use for it.

How does it manage punctuation? Do you have to go back through and put in everything afterwards?

you tell it where to place the period, question mark, etc...new paragraph, just say it and its done!

Just did a bit of googling, it sounds really interesting

the mac version is pricier, which is a shame. I might have to save up for this though, it sounds awesome!

I've played with the program before, but something about typing thrills me. I like to go back and re read what I just typed and see how much I just effed up any of the spelling or grammar! lol.
I can tell you I like the text to speech program on my phone though.
