call me racist or whatver, but if you come to this country (or any other country for that matter) know the language. it makes it easier in the country you are in, alot easier. why should i have to learn whatever language you speak if you come to where i live?

"It's really embarrassing where I live. I've got kids and they ask me all the time how somebody can put up a sign that's so racist toward other people."

I think these tards are going a bit far. Racism?

What country are we in? The USA. What's the primary language? English?

Learn it, or go back down south.

I'm with everybody up dar. :agree

The good news is, the Racist card is starting to wear thin. It doesn't hold the same mystic effect it did 10 years ago. Now people are like "WTF do you mean racist?? All I said was I'm sorry, I don't speak Spanish!!"

:lol

My best friend in the service was Mexian. (1st generation U.S.). I'm not trying to step on your toes or anything here, so don't take it wrong, but do you think it should really be necessary to hire somebody at a bar that is bi-lingual?

I have not problem with imigrants. They make up our entire nation (unless you're native American I guess), but if I moved to France, I don't think I'd pitch a bitch when nobody understood my English. I'd teach myself French, or starve to death. It's rude in my opinion to expect people to accomodate you because you refuse to learn something. (I don't mean 'you' 'you,' I just mean in general)

:agree Isn't knowing English part of the Naturalization test?

Taken from http://uscis.gov/graphics/services/natz/general.htm
which is the United States Citizenship And Immigration Services website

That's why you hear the term "Illegal Imigration" so often. People aren't following the rules in the first place, and then expect us to cater to them. Not a polite way to act in another persons house if you ask me.

Its definally not racist in my opinion.. Shit, I agree with him for doing what he did. Working at 911 we get spanish people all the time, and I have to transfer them to the language line.. which btw, costs the state fees!!! WTF is all that about.. BTW, I am not racist. I have puerto rican in me.. My ex was full blooded puerto rican and he and his family spoke perfect english. Everyone else should be like that. We have to adapt in their country, why cant they in ours?

Exactly. But if we go to their country, it's our fault.

That's very surprising and impressive. 99.95% of the people in this world are not capable of seeing something personal to them from a different point of view. My hat's off to you mate. :cool
