Over 500,000 pieces of space junk threaten satellites and spacecraft. Solutions range from laser removal to biodegradable satellites. Who should be responsible for orbital cleanup? How can we prevent the Kessler syndrome scenario?
Well, I think that pathetic organisations like "nasa" has been doing a poor job cleaning the space debris. The fact remains that we have been polluting the space as well, just like we have been polluting the earth. Scientists even found a plastic bag in Mariana trench as well.
I don't think they are taking space debris too seriously. However, I believe sooner or later they will realize that these items must be cleaned from our sky.
