Money has been tight for us the last couple of years and we rarely splurge on meals because we just need to watch our money. We use coupons regularly. Tuesday we got a bunch of coupons in the mail. I went thru and looked them over. Last night my wife was tired and did not feel like cooking. I told her there is a coupon to Papa Johns for a three topping large pizza for $10. For $2 more you can make it an extra large. Should feed all three of us easily. I call and tell the guy about my coupon.
He says, "Our prices have gone up since that was printed."
"the coupon came in day before yesterday and says it is good until May 31st."
He says, "They were not suppose to reprint that coupon."
Me, "Well the coupon is new to me and I don't think it is fair for you to charge otherwise."
Him:"Well, I will honor the coupon,"
Me: "I will bring it with me."
When I got there he still wanted to argue over whether he should honor it or not. I paid $12 + tax. I suppose it will be a while before I order Papa John's again.
