It all started out by seeing an advertisement for Circuit City (I used to work there when it was still the retail outlet) in the advertisements section on this community.

So I clicked.

After browsing around a little (and finding out the SysteMax bought the rights pretty much to everything Circuit City)... I looked at the PC Components tab (as the website has changed moderately from viewing last time)... Clicked for Computer Cases...

But something bothered me. I knew it was something with the Navigation page on the left-hand side of the website, then the "Add to Cart" and "More Info" buttons looked strangely familiar. What grabbed my attention was the "Circuit's Top Seller's" list... even I would not cut off the City from the name, as that is part of the name!

But the design still nagged at me until I figured out what it was.

Apparently, TigerDirect is also owned by SysteMax.

And I really did not care for it's layout, prices, anything, really. And look, they also cut off the last portion of TigerDirect, in the same location - the "Tiger's Top Sellers" list.

To add on to that, the website server even delivered the same list of Computer Cases for both sites.

In fact, besides advertisement space, coloring scheme, and the TigerDirect logos... I would venture to say they are run by pretty much the same back-end.

Which means, the "all-new CircuitCity.com" is not really new, except that it is different from the old CircuitCity.com.

Which means, I will still continue to buy from Newegg.com. :thumbup
