Hello :surrender

I have an exam coming up on WW1 literature, and a large chunk of the marks come from the ability to demonstrate wider reading; i.e cite other WW1 poems, plays, even tv shows.

So I was just hoping to get some recomendations of some stuff to read, and maybe watch - like Blackadder goes fourth, I'll watch that for educational purposes no problem.
Preferrabley from the allied perspective, not that I am not interesting in the German's, just the exams are not overly concerned with the German perspective.

Cant think of one off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure you wont be able to do an accurate report based on material from Blackadder goes forth, good as it was.

Interestingly on the same exam a few years ago it was the transcript used in one of the questions, the final episode, "Goodbyeeee."
So if they can use it as part of a question I will use it as a part of an answer :D

umm... read your testbook and wikipedia :p

I'm a bit old for textbooks I'm afraid, also the idea of wider reading is you engage in said activity. Just looking up someone like Sassoon on Wikipedia gets you a biography which is only mildly helpful at best :)
