I've had to leave Michael in his stroller to run out and snatch up Amara from getting to the street. Distance of maybe... 5 feet (less than my height). I'd not of gotten to her if I pushed him.... he was safe on the sidewalk, leveled and the brake was on.
So I'm a bad mother?
I think you need more time trying to keep track of toddlers to understand, they are fucking fast and super sneaky of slipping away when they know Mommy/Daddy can't chase me.
My son when was very young he started a new thing while at the shops ..he will wait the moment to hide(as there were a lot of clothes or other stuff around was easy) he thought was a game and was in a spot he could see me but i could not so little easy to hide..anyway when he done that the first time i was so panic i thought i lost him looking around and then he will appear ..even i knew after what was doing still was so scared ..
but i fixed him one day when he done that i made sure he could not see me and i could you should had see the face ready to cry ..well after that never left to hide and play games like that
but you are so right they are so fast and little easy to sneak ..
i guess with Dana's point am bad too
