So....any plans of possible future trips? Just asking.

I'm actually leaving for the UK on the 12th for a return trip...but this time swinging through Scotland and then headed back to London.

Are those New Jersey beaches???????

Ah, they are the Outer Banks of North Carolina...heaven on earth and sadly the southern beaches (my favorite) won't be here forever...so visit while you can!!

love the tower bridge

That's my favorite...i have a gazillion pictures of that from different angles.

You won't regret it!! I had a great time and it's why I'm going back.

Fantastic pics..i live near avebury...come have a spot of luncheon next time;) xxx

Aw thanks! I'll actually have a brief stint in Wilts before heading back to London, so that's not out of the realm of possibility! :D

I'm from OBX! Well, kinda. If you drove down there, you passed my parent's house.

Where all did you visit?

The OBX have to be my favorite place on this earth. The beaches are simply gorgeous and I've been going long enough that I feel as though it's my second home. The locals are so friendly too...just a really great place to go and unwind. Usually I go somewhere on Hatteras Island...my favorite being the Rodanthe/Waves/Salvo area.

You are very lucky to have a resident connection there! I've really become a city girl, but that's one place that's not urban that I could forsee myself being completely happy if I were to relocate there.
