Some days I wish I lived further away from other people.

I got an early start today and went into town. I came home and worked in the yard for a couple of hours. I got really hot, dirty and tired. I came in took a shower and stretched out on the bed to rest for a bit. The weather is nice enough to have the windows open and the ceiling fans going and still be comfortable. I was awakened by three teenage nimrods on ATV's racing in the empty lot beside my house that is at the head of my bed.:shifty:

There are a lot of situation that make us feel that; sometimes, people can be annoying, don't consider your presence at all. I just tell myself that it is part of the life; that is the strength of our love for humankind, the way we accept them with good and bad sides.

When I hear loud ATV's outside, I go out and let a full 30 round mag off. Works wonders

I get that feelings sometime, and someday I muster enough courage to go to my farm, which is quieter than my city home.

I get that. Some days it just feels easier to have space and quiet without everything and everyone around. I think it’s less about escaping people completely and more about needing time to reset and feel like yourself again.

I wish I could live off the grid. Just in a quite forest, with nothing but my wife and I and our cat Mochi. I couldn't do it since my survival skills suck lol. But it would be nice!

Sometimes being around people all the time just feels draining, even if nothing is wrong. Wanting space can be more about needing peace and control over your environment than actually wanting to be alone forever.
