I think some couples feel disconnected when living together because they really do not find the time to spend quality time together. They do not talk anymore, they do not do activities that can help rekindle the spark, and so on. They are too busy working and often neglect the needs of their significant other. Why do you think it happens?

When the couple doesn't make out time to have deeper conversations beyond bills and routines, they would soon become estranged to each other. And before you know it, they are just going by everyday with each other with no bond at all.

Some couples feel strangely distant even while sharing the same home. It often happens when daily routines replace meaningful conversations, or when stress, phones, and work take priority over emotional connection. People can live side by side but feel unseen or unheard. Relationships need intentional effort, quality time, and honest communication.

Many couples drift apart because daily routines take over and emotional priorities slip to the background. People get tired, stressed, or focused on work and survival, and they stop nurturing the relationship with the same intention they had early on. When communication becomes logistical instead of meaningful, connection slowly weakens.

Love needs constant nurturing. To keep it live you will have to work on it. However, we as a person are also constantly evolving, therefore, our feelings fade or change.
