I'm becoming a fan of Pawn Stars & American Pickers. Great shows that showcase some great items of historic value. I must admit though some people on Pawn Stars are idiots.

I've never watched those, but I've seen a few episodes of Hardcore Pawn (the punny show names are annoying, IMO) and the shit is SO fake that I can't even bother to watch it. But that's coming from someone who watches Jersey Shore, LOL

There's a show on SyFy called Deals From The Darkside; some dude wanted 80,000 dollars for a chair from the Titanic that had been reburbished. The dude looked at him like he lost his freaking mind.

Pawn Stars was fun for a little while, I do enjoy American Pickers, though those guys are clearly so gay it's painful to watch them try to act as if they aren't.
I also like Storage Wars, it's a bit more staged than American Pickers but it's got the same feeling of adventure to it

If you're not from the UK you wouldn't have, it airs in the afternoons here on ITV.

It's basically where people take their "valuables" to these specialists and have them valued. Before this they would have gone to an independent one and had them valued so they can measure up with what this specialist is offering. They can basically either take what the specialist is offering and run or decline it and take it to auction and see if they make anything more.

Heck, the weather channel is more reality shows than weather anymore. Unless they have a major storm for all the fools to stand out in try to report. They must run a hell of a budget to fly crews all over for storms.
