I more noticed how everyone kept referring to the Roswell incident as happened in the 50s, it happened in the 40s! Pile of self indulgant, flag waving, crap anyway.

On a serious note, movies like ID show the only possible path to WorldPeace. ALL of us united against a common enemy. That would be aliens..... Imagine what could be if we all worked together instead of against each other. :cool

Nope, it showed that the rest of the world are weak idiots and should sit around on their arses waiting for the flag waving Americans to charge in on their white steeds and save the day because they are obviously so great.
It's kind of racist against aliens as well, maybe they meant it to be about Mexicans but that was deemed inappropriate?:jk

The typical movie, with the big, life endangering heroic deed that tips the scale in our favor.... it's a scheme that works.
War of the Worlds was more "realistic" IMO ... doesn't mean that is was better entertainment though.

anyone not notice that the woman and the dog hid in that room in the tunnel,the fire would have sucked the oxygen out......and the truck she drove off in,convinient that the only vehicle not incinerated had the keys under the sun visor

Of all the inaccuracies in such a movie, I'd say that was the least noticeable LOL
Its about cigars, a fat lady, and fireworks.
No there were no Mexicans in this movie...I think I own that movie....
doesn't it have something to do with aliens attacking earth?
