So, I am finally attempting to get some systems working from a box of old stuff a friend gave me. So far, I have a 30.7GB Western Digital IDE drive, dual 400mhz Pentium 2's and an ATi Rage Fury/XPert 2000 Pro 128MB AGP4x video card, on a RIOWorks PDIVA motherboard. Kind of an interesting/no-name brand, but hell, it works!

But, I found something more interesting:

A NEC MultiSpin 4x4; Model #: CDR-C251

Basically, it is a CD changer. In the size of a regular cdrom drive, I now have a drive that can handle 4 cds. Oh, and if you think slot-loaded drives are new in design, they are not. This drive was manufactured in January, 1996.

:D

Basically, I have to find a system that it works with; I just did some research, and it looks as if I need an additional expansion card to go with it.

Good thing is, I think that was also in the box.

So, right now, I am going to put the system back together (it is all laying out on a table, not in a case -- I am done with cases) and see if i cannot get a driver going or something.

I will attach some pictures in a little bit.

I feel like a kid in a candy store. :willy_nilly:
