we had a long walk in fact,well the sky was broken white fluffy cloud when we went out....we got over an hour from the car and the sky darked and the heavens opened....we got absolutely soaked

Had the same this morning. Was out chatting to some friends outside Sainsburys earlier on, nice and sunny and then in an istant it was pouring. My friend had two of her chickens killed last week by the shock of a thunderstorm.
I do like sitting on my patio in the hot weather with a pint watching a thunderstorm though.

I am sorry you got soaked, but that is a beautiful picture, Sky.

We had quite a bit of rain in our area yesterday. A couple of the nearby shops even received some damage from a flash flood. It rained so hard so fast. I am just glad I didn't have to drive in it.
