So... I ran my first 5k

Yeah, I love running. I try to run everyday. I run at least 3 miles each time. I saw a file at my school for a 5k run to help raise money for a memorable bench to honor a St. Paul police officer that was shot.


Out of 130 people I came in 7th place.. which isnt bad I guess and it was for a good cause

7th/130 - time = 21 min 26 seconds. (3.14 miles)



It was cold as hell!!! I ran the lake again two days later and completed it in 20.59 so I'm getting better woo!

More 5ks to come.

I used to run 5 miles a day, right up until my knees let me know I was getting a little old:mad

I still do the treadmill thing, but only a couple of miles at a time.

But congrtulations, that's good numbers for a 5k:clap
