Good to see that it's only taken them 70 days to realise that asking for help to clean up the mess is a far better initial reaction than sueing people.

The technology does not exist to deal with this kind of accident. The oil industry has proven it, without any doubts in anyones minds, right? So what about all the other potential accidents waiting in the wings: 1) stop them from drilling/operating? 2) cross fingers it won't happen again 3) Other?
