I took this afternoon off as I usually do every year so I can hang around the airport and shoot aircraft as they practice for the show. Besides having to hide from the stinkin' cops the lighting conditions were absolutely horrid. A very gray sky due to the cloud cover as well as a lot of smoke from all the forest fires.

In any event I got to watch 'em fly....

A "bombing run"?: Lead plane carries ordinance, followers are there to make sure any resistance is met with appropriate counter-force.
