Dayuuumn that's such a hard call to make. Love both of them.

Pressed for a choice...hmm....I'll have to say MadTV for more consistently laughable parodies per episode.

Some of my favorite characters:

Stuart - the hyperactive little boy played by Michael McDonald.

The Depressed Persian Tow Truck Man - again played By Michael McDonald

Ms. Bunny Swan - more commonly known as "Ms. Swan," portrayed by actress Alex Borstein
(She cracks me up).

Lorraine Swanson - played by Mo Collins is a confused, middle-aged woman from Fridley, Minnesota who fails to comply with many people's instructions. Lorraine wears high, elastic-waist jeans into which she tucks her shirt.

Antonia - Antonia Timmens was a character played by Nicole Sullivan. Antonia spoke with a noticeable lisp; it was implied that she may have been mildly retarded. She found everyday activities and normal conversations challenging.

Skits featuring Antonia usually involved her attempting to perform a variety of jobs clearly beyond her limited abilities, such as answering a suicide hotline or piloting an aircraft. She also teamed up with James Brown, Jr. (played by Aries Spears) and became a bank robber. The source of the comedy came from the other characters becoming increasingly frustrated by her, particularly when she would respond with an inane comment, "I have a cat named C.C." Or with her catchphrases "It is possible!" and "I don't know?".

I'm voting for SNL, but I haven't seen MAD TV in a while. I didn't really like it a few years ago though.

SNL has more history than madTV in my book.
Much better comedy and an awesome legacy when it comes to the people that came out of that show to pursue bigger and better things.
