Just wanted to post a quick update about the site.
I've resolved some issues that were causing the server to run slowly. Performance should now be noticeably improved. I want to apologize for how agonizingly slow the website has been loading.
I've also fixed an email deliverability problem. User signups, account confirmations, and password reset emails should all be working properly again.
With this said, the site has now been running on the same server for some time. It's starting to get some "server bloat" along with some outdated software. In the near future I'll be upgrading the server for even better performance, and to clean up a lot of the clutter that it has been gaining over the years.
During this time, I will also be updating the main XenForo software that the site currently uses. We are quite a few updates behind as there wasn't any need to make the upgrade. However, with a new server infostructure, its the perfect time to get updated to the newest version of the forum software as well.
I'll provide an exact timeframe as we get closer to this date. There will be a short period of downtime during the upgrade, but it shouldn't last long.
