I had a brief database error yes, as well as it running slowly for a little while. Still, I managed to ban a spammer about half an hour ago.

It was kind of slow for me about an hour ago, now it seems fine
i just logged in, nothing out of the ordinary.
i am finding a lot of residue from the sites i visit in my cache folders that will slow the browser down and even cause it to hang. i don't know who's responsible yet, but there is at least one forum site that is setting tons of spies in the cookies folder.
just delete the files more often and that will help keep your browser running up to speed.

I felt that too, it was just returning me a page with an error message.

Im not sure what the problem was.. must of been on server side. Glad everything is back up and running.
