Did you create a Skype log in and password on their site yet ?

I did look and found a long line of complaints on the Skype web site but that ended in 2009..

Yeah, I put the app on my iPod. I can chat with someone through IM no problem. When I try calling someone (or they call me) I can hear the other person but they can't hear me. It told me I needed to connect a mic so I tried connecting it through the headphone jack but that didn't work. Maybe I need a different mic? :unsure:

Seemed to be a common complaint on that forum link at Skype I gave you.. I would probably wager Apple limits Voice packets so people cannot call on iPod and need iPhone but will never admit to it..

Yeah, there's just the headphone jack. I thought I'd improvise and see if it worked.

The app says that you can make and recieve calls on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad so it ought to work on mine. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if the app itself is flawed. :dunno

it does work on ipod touch, used it a day ago... but you need an actual ipod mic not a random jack lol

Ah, well there ya go! I guess I'll have to look into getting myself one. Are they expensive?

If you buy in store or from apple... there around 30-40 bucks, but on ebay its about 5-12 dollars
