What kind of skanks are we talking about. Cuz I know this one skank that likes punk music. But I know this other skank that likes country. And I even know a skank that likes both regge and oldeez. Im at a loss.

Ska - It's a music variant big in England during the late 80's, early 90's - a little like reggae with brass.

I can't think of too many bands off the top of my head but try The Specials with a song called A Message To You Rudy - was a big hit a few years back.

ok so ska did come from bands like the specials but its still around with bands like Reel Big Fish, Planet Smashers, RX bandits, Sublime to an extent, No doubts a sell out ska band, Less than jake is one of the big ones and one of the biggest and favourites the mighty mighty bosstones, im assuming yall have heard the impression that i get

And skank as in relation to ska is the type of really stupid looking dance you do that involes a kicking type thing but its fun, also known as skanking

warp tour usualy has a lot of ska music

only really one or two bands

If you ever get news Ska is Dead tour is coming to town i suggest going to it if you wish to really experience ska, they normally have a good mix of local and national ska bands and if you dont like ska tis no biggie, lots dont favor the addition of horns and such, but i think streetlight or reel big fish have the right sound that could make mainstream

I popped in a lil Mighty Mighty Bosstones and I can say its not really my kinda music, but I can see why someone would like it. And
"Another Drinking Song" and "Royal Oil" are pretty good.

RBF is my favorite band. I've been to PLENTY of their shows. Each show I went to whether a mosh pit was started or a skank pit was started i have never seen them walk off stage. And i've been where the've played in front of huge crowds.
