Sinus Rinse - Beware

I did a sinus rinse because I'm feeling foul. It went into my nostril and then into my ear!!!!! It didn't come out - it all went in.

So I googled it, and come to find out it can fuck up your ear pretty bad, so I went to the doctor today, and he agreed my ears looked bad. He gave me a cortisone shot to reduce the swelling, etc. and then some medicine to help my ears drain.



User's beware!!! If you get it in your ears, then go to the doctor immediately!

So what does you doctor say about sinus rinses? Is it something he supports?

He says yes if you don't over use it, and if it behaves as it is supposed to.

Meaning obviously don't do it if you don't need to, and if water goes in and doesn't come out, go see a doctor.




Apparently this happens if you are so sick that your sinuses are swollen up - water goes in the wrong direction and stays there because it can't drain.
