Miley Cyrus's popular song Flowers indirectly refers to her past relationships. Do you think that singers should write about their relationships in their songs and will it be considered defamation?

It is good for singers to write about their past relationships and there is nothing to be called defamation right there, for that is how music is. Music is experience about life, you don't just write what you've not experienced or what is not real and sing about it for that is not the meaning of music.

They are inspired to make songs by their relationships and other life events. Even though it's usual for artists to write about their relationships, it's necessary to take into account any potential ethical and legal repercussions.
