Chemicals engulf my inner workings,
I wish to end this suicide but can not,
Temptation triumphs will power and pride,
Life, stress, hurt, emotion, all which can’t be fought.​

As the flame ignites; dark death teases my lips,
Such glorious pain invites more suffering within,
I can’t fight it; they say I must be insane,
Killing myself on inhalation at a time.​

Just twenty four, already missing some part of me,
Day after Day this silent killer deteriorates it away,
My breath no longer comes to me freely, or easily,
A heavy price I do pay for each puff on this; my silent killer.​
