should the police be doing things like this ?

environmentally promiscuous

i have heard the saying,
don't sleep with the enemy,
but these cops need a definition,
and to look up the word irony.
yes i understand about informers,
intelligence led is a tool,
but this is not professional,
your sexual appetite you can not fool.
how many months have you wasted,
what did you infiltrate,
is the UK now a safer place,
all involved, should i congratulate.
or is this whole episode a disgrace,
and never should have got approval,
these under cover operations should now be scrutinised,
off the police list they must have removal.
it would be justified,
to solve a murder, or bust a drug or paedophile ring,
but environmental protesters,
i have to laugh and hope humiliation this dose bring.

(hi everyone on offtopicz - dose anyone agree with the joe and feel the police should not be doing things like this and the money could be so much better spent? love to hear from anyone who dose or dont and there reasons.)

I think this is about a scandal that broke out in the UK over the past few weeks, where the police had infiltrated environmental groups, sexual allegations involved, a marriage even, and a typical British disaster.

It's causing quite a stir because, at the end of the day, who exactly are the police protecting by spying on environmental groups, other than big, destructive corporations?

It's a very sick waste of taxpayer resources when they could be out catching real criminals and solving crimes that have a negative effect on society.

But then, the role of the police in the UK isn't to solve crimes, nor keep the peace, they're there to make sure everyone tows the line, follows the status quo and doesn't question the societal structure.

Poor Britain, 1 step away from a total police state.
