Algorithms decide what people see online, shaping opinions and behavior. Should platforms reveal how these systems work, or would that create new problems?

I think that would be very good but I don't see them doing because they are notorious for manipulating data

I think social media algorithms should be transparent. Understanding how content is prioritized helps users recognize bias, manage influence, and make informed choices. Transparency promotes accountability, reduces manipulation, and builds trust, though full technical disclosure may need balance with platform security and intellectual property.
