Some argue historical injustices still impact people today, while others say no one should be punished for the past. Should modern generations take responsibility for historical wrongs? How should societies address historical injustices?

Let's say you are living on the ancestral property that your ancestors built by subjugating other people, don't you think you should be accountable? But if you have not benefited anything from your ancestors, why should you be made accountable?

I don’t think people should be held accountable for their ancestors' actions. While we can acknowledge and learn from history, it’s important to focus on individual responsibility in the present. We can work towards progress without carrying the burden of past wrongs.

Nope, I don't think that will be right. Why should I pay for what another did. Go straight to the person and deal with the person

People shouldn’t be punished for their ancestors’ actions, but they can take responsibility in acknowledging history and correcting its lingering effects. Accountability today means working toward justice, not carrying guilt, but actively choosing to do better.
