Shelfari is a website where you can keep track of books you've read, books you want to read and books you're reading.

It's easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, not spammy and useful.

You can also join book discussions, groups and fan clubs. It also lists several "lists" like "Top 100 Teen Fantasy Books" or "Oprah Book Club" or "Top 100 Nonfiction Books" or "2006 NY Time Best Sellers" etc.

You can look books up by author, subject, series and related books.

It will track what you've read and update new books to your series. I've had to go back and read some books since the series was continued.

It is linked with Amazon so it's pretty comprehensive with summaries, reviews, etc. It can also be linked to your Amazon account to add any book you buy through Amazon.

You can add "friends" or "followers" or follow some one yourself if you like what they read.

I've actually been using it to find books to read and then downloading the pdf's and reading them...:eek
