Hahaha a Wednesday fan! My cuz is the physio for Sheff Utd so I am equally as pleased, taking into account the HUGE rivalry!

A very good friend of mine is. I try to follow them a bit to sort of keep up with what they are doing, but we don't get their games and I haven't forked out to see the few that they do show on PPV. I got to see the tail end of the Derby when I was over in October and they did win that. The irony of it all is when he's here stateside, he's money luck for my hockey club...in fact, I don't think they've lost whenever he is here. But alas, his team seems to be cursed...I know they've had a shit time on the road, but they've put up decent numbers at home this year in spite of injury and all the rigamarole around the potential buyers who keep backing out.

Oh that's heartbreaking! As a casual Spurs fan, I've seen that all too many times...battle battle battle and still lose the day. Seems to be the curse of the Wednesday...they go on a tear and then just shit the bed when it matters or the bounce just doesn't go their way. They have to be the most frustrated fans in the game.
Typically when I say I have a friend who is a Wednesday fan I get one of two responses:
-Poor bastard
-My condolences
...and I'm just the type that loves a good underdog story that I'd follow them if I could.
