I could not help but laugh at the squirrel in the road. She never lost a grip on the nuts even though she was totally confused running around in the road with traffic headed in both directions. I am betting she was more concerned about what was in her mouth than anything else.:tooth

The hickory nuts are falling and the squirrels are on them every day up here. Drive the Jack Russel nuts when they are out in the pasture getting them.

Who has black squirrels living around them. Had to take a double take the first time I saw one. Kind of like a spotted skunk LOL

We occasionally see fox squirrels which can be almost black or close to red. Usually just see gray squirrels.

We have blacks, greys and red ones. Greys are the bulk of them. Saw this and thought of this thread!
