If you don't like wrestling, leave.

If you do, stay, make yourself comfortable and read the thread.

Anyway, Wrestlemania 26 is 10 days away (Sunday March 28th)

The biggest match, and maybe the biggest match in Wrestlemania history, is Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker. The Undertaker has never lost at Wrestlemania and if he keeps that up here, Michaels has to retire. But if Michaels wins, he breaks 'The Streak'.

They met last year at Wrestlemania and it was a classic.

Here are the promo video's for the match, both excellently produced and awe-inspiring to watch.

If your a wrestling fan, buy Wrestlemania, if only for this match alone, it's worth the £15/$50

If your not a wrestling fan, buy Wrestlemania and just watch this match, you'll be sold.

It could be...nah fuck it, it will be the greatest Wrestlemania match of all time.

Its going to be the Undertaker, no way are they going to take his winning streak off him, Michaels has been rumoured to be taking time off and their already pushing that DVD of his career every 5 minutes on WWE.

I used to be a fan of Shawn Michaels back when I watched wrestling, The Undertaker freaked me out. To make it worse, there was an annoying girl at my day camp who claimed that she was The Undertaker's niece when that was just blatantly untrue!

I remember a few years ago, I watched WrestleMania when Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan were wrestling. I thought it was a bit on the cheesy side.

Shawn Michaels has been telling friends as of late he plans on retiring at WrestleMania. His contract is set to expire soon and he has talked about wanting to spend more time with his children as they grow up.

Michaels himself has made noise about retiring in recent years, to the point that WWE actually scripted jokes about it on Raw. After taking time off in 2008, he made noise about deciding not to come back. Like previous times he'd taken time off, WWE would call him back to return and he would. He also said in a radio interview last year that he had told the company his retirement date (which at the time was this year's WrestleMania). On the other hand, he's brought up the idea of wrestling well into his fifties, though only a match or two per year.

Michaels is not advertised for any shows past the night after WrestleMania when RAW emanates from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Letting HBK beat Taker would be a bigger waste of a rub than having Nash end Goldberg's winning streak.

If they give it to a young guy (like Bourne, Kofi, Rhodes, etc) it would be a HUGE boost to their career.

I'm not saying that any of those that I listed deserve the push, but somebody in that age range.

I think if there was any point they were going to end his winning streak it was against Orton and they still didn't do it then. As Sam says, it would be pointless ending it with someone on the brink of retirement.

That was probably the most awesome match I've watch. Shame it's HBK and not Triple H who's retiring after his dire performance. Rest of it was pretty mixed.
Ray Mysterio and HW matches where good, WWE title match was surprisingly not as bad as I thought it would be, had to laugh at Cena celebrating infront of his haters in the crowd too.
Low points - Triple H, as I already mentioned, the complete let down of McMahon v Hart (we waited 13 years for that???) and the women's match which was even dire and pointless for a womans match. Wish they would stop humiliating Vikki as well.

I've just watched this match again (I'll watch the rest of the event later in the week) and honestly, it's just really great. It's not as good as the match they has last year but it did live up to all the hype and it did tell a better story than last year. Not so sure how long Michaels will stay away (because as we all know, wrestlers never really retire)
