How Can I Prevent Yeast Infections?
What you wear — or don't wear — can help you avoid a yeast infection. Yeast grows best in a warm, moist environment: think wet bathing suits, tight jeans, and stretchy exercise gear. Nylon underwear, pantyhose, and other synthetic materials that trap moisture also make yeast infections more likely.
Some girls may react to certain dyes or perfumes in soaps, bath gels or lotions, sanitary products, and laundry detergents. When the reaction causes irritation, that can set the stage for a yeast infection. Your best bet is to steer clear of perfumed products and to use mild and fragrance-free products when possible.
To help keep your vaginal area dry, try switching to all-cotton underwear and make sure you carefully dry off after you shower. If you can, wear cotton underwear to bed or don't wear any, and always wash and thoroughly dry your underwear before wearing them. Don't lounge around in a wet bathing suit and avoid jeans or pantyhose that are too tight.
Don't take leftover antibiotics or someone else's antibiotics if you think you have an infection. Only take antibiotics when and how they're prescribed for you. And if you have diabetes, make sure you keep your blood sugar levels under control.
Eat less Yeast

Too much yeast in your body will almost certainly result in a vaginal yeast infection, and then you'll start suffering from an intestinal yeast infection if you don't start treating yourself as soon as possible. Too much yeast will allow it to overpower your body's natural defenses, and then it mutates into an aggressive fungus that starts feeding on the cells of your body. This feeding is what cause the itching in your vagina, and if it start feeding on the walls of your intestines, they will become perforated.Learn how you can completely cleanse your body of fungus, and prevent any future yeast infections here - Natural Yeast Infection Cure.
We all have the Candia yeast in us
We all have the Candia yeast living harmlessly in our bodies. It's when you have too much yeast in your body that it will start destroying your health. Our natural defenses will usually keep the yeast under control, we can't eliminate completely because it is an organism that gets swallowed with food on a daily basis. Once your body's natural defenses have been compromised in some way the yeast will mutate, and then you start suffering from its symptoms.
Underlying health condition causing too much yeast
An underlying health condition can cause too much yeast, and until you discover if you do have a health condition causing the Candida overgrowth you won't be able to stop your infections. If you are suffering from recurrent yeast infections because of the levels of yeast in your body it's a good idea to see your doctor to rule out any health conditions that could be contributing to your infections. Your health is important, and an underlying condition along with too much Candida can result in your health becoming very poor. Chronic Candida infections ruin lives, and can get to the point where they are very difficult to treat with any drugs.
Drugs and medicines
Too much yeast in your body can be caused by drugs and medicines that you're taking on a regular basis or have taken in the past. Antibiotics is the biggest cause of yeast overgrowth in the human body, and once antibiotics have weakened your body's natural defenses then you need to reverse the damage they have caused before you can get your health back on track.
Antibiotics weaken your immune system and they destroy your levels of beneficial bacteria, and both of these are needed to prevent the yeast from mutating into an aggressive, infection causing fungus.
Other drugs that cause yeast overgrowth are the birth control pill and steroids
What you need to do to stop your recurrent yeast infections
Preventing yeast overgrowth if you have too much yeast in your body can be extremely difficult sometimes. Many women start purchasing oral anti fungal drugs but these only kill the yeast and fungus. They don't prevent the yeast from breeding again once it is in your system. Only your body can do this, and to do this you need to do it naturally. Drugs upset your body's chemical balance, and this encourages more yeast overgrowth.

I tried looking it up online but everything I find only talks about what people NORMALLY think of when you say "yeast infection." Did you add veggies into your diet??? If so, perhaps that's what causing the bloat instead since you're not used to it.
Hmmm, I wonder if that might be what's causing some of your problems.i know. the article i read was in a magazine. and yes to the veggies, some that i have never tried before as well
Yeah, I thought people recommended probiotic yoghurt, like Yakult or something.
