His arrests were for lesser offenses, he wasn't ever arrested in connection to any murder and no conviction for murder was sought before now. The death penalty would never have been an issue for him before now, but its safe to say this guy never needs to walk the streets again. Be it death or life behind bars, his absence from society is going to save lives.

My friend J.R. was labeled as a sex offender for such a bullshit reason. His friends locked him and some teenage girl in a shed as a joke. No sex, no touching, they just locked them in there. Bam, girl cries rape, he's in jail as a sex offender, now has that tag the rest of his life. Maybe we should give him the death penalty too?

Killing them may protect the rest of us, but it's not going to bring our loved ones back. Nor will it make their crimes any less intense.

Actully it's because they say they try to rehabilitate, but def they don't.
However, he was not even treated for being a "serial killer" as he was caught because of minor crimes.
If he can't be rehabilitated (and at least in this moment, that's the case), then he shouldn't be out in the streets, though.
