I know one's spouse should be "all-about the other" (but they CAN'T be, which is a basic root of the high divorce-rate ... that's why Jesus couldn't stick around after His resurrection---because He would have to be all-about-Himself & wouldn't be able to focus on how wonderful anyone else were!)
And I know how Jesus would feel, because I feel that way too. Yes, I was 'thrown to death's door' (hit by a car, dead for 7 minutes, coma/bedridden on life-support for a few months, still dealing with issues of brain-injury); so I also 'feel' (even though I 'know' differently) "I am the way, the truth & the light" and all should fall on their knees in my presence.
What the Bible doesn't exactly tell you is that God Himself will be on His knees too! Yes, maybe it'll be that He's 'on His knees to Himself'; but He WON'T be "sitting on a throne basking in the glory of accolades-of-praise!" ... maybe He'll be on a throne, but it'll be offering appreciation/praise to the Word He sent before that has returned 'not empty'!
(God IS NOT an entity separate-from His creation--so that you can look & see 'God is in one place & someone/something else is in another'--but rather He is One-with-His-Creation!)
Thinking about that truth, it's difficult to have to worry about yourself; but if there's no one else to worry about yourself, you have to make yourself King Worthy of All Your Devotion!
