Really happy people ain't have to be successful, but they manage to find a way to stay positive even though times get really tough. R u one of those people and what's ur secret of happiness?

My mum used to say that but once I grew up and left home, I was worried that she couldn't find new happiness. I am glad she's used to it now, but sometimes it makes me feel guilty that we are two continents apart.

Love is the secret. It's all about the truly unconditional love you give to others.
Love what you're doing.
Love where you are.
Love who you're with.
Love those around you.

If you love the Lord and love those around you, in that order, true happiness WILL find you.

Different kinds of happiness can be found along the way, make no mistake about it: situational happiness, circumstantial happiness, conditional happiness, carnal happiness, career happiness, professional happiness - all different kinds of happiness.

TRUE happiness will be found with those two kinds of love.

I really don't think it's possible to carry the emotion of happiness every single day...there is no possible way for someone to just have one emotion like that. You will always have a bad day here and there. To lead a happy life, is another thing...and that's how you choose to live it.

I have times when I feel distant from God as well, usually when I am exhausted from going through 'something'. But when I find myself in those situations, I find that if I get sleep, and 'seek' Him through His Word, in worship, and in prayer that He will fill me with that inner peace that we are all in so much need of.

I do not think that all temporal things get easier because of our relationship with the Lord. We live in a world of sin and thus we are not going to be able to avoid the trials and tribulations of life. But I know that how I choose to think, the mental part, the self-talk, and my spirituality - I know that these parts of me are able to be at peace through the storms in life due to God. He gives me strength, wisdom, joy and perserverance.

Really?? When someone says that, I am always suspicious. It's as if they don't have any other emotions or expect for having parties, they don't have any other kinds of life. Hope this doesn't offend you. Good on you for being just happy and making people happy.
