Couldn't think of an appropriate thread title... but basically. Was wondering what films you guys thought had better sequals?

Because in my opinion most triology's and stuff start of good but then get crapper.

So my question is: Name a sequal to a movie which was better than the first one!?

Mine would be Die Hard. As much as I love Die Hard 1 ... Die Hard 3 was just great.

Godfather part 2 I think is the best
Hotshots part Deux maybe.

That's all I can think of. However, I'm of the school that the second Aliens film is an embarrassment, whereas the first is a cinematic masterpiece.

Can't argue with that, even though the first Godfather is amazing.


I liked the second Kill Bill and The Empire Strikes Back (it started out as a sequel, so I''m acknowledging it as such.:nod:
