No offense Freddo... but it's more than a little tainted by the Cam Newton bullshit. Because you wouldn't have been here without him. Good win for Auburn for sure, but I really hope it doesn't come out afterwards that Auburn has a USC or SMU situation on their hands.
The talking heads are going to make sure they continue to talk about it whether we did anything wrong or not. If we did nothing wrong good for us. If we did wrong we will pay the piper but I am enjoying the ride. The talking heads can't taint the wins even if the NCAA takes them away later.
In 1993, we were undefeated but on probation. As NCAA punishment goes the school & the players punished had done nothing wrong but we could not go to the conference championship.
In 2004, we were dismissed because USC & Oklahoma had been one and two most of the season and we started at about 17.
This year may be our year to claim a title for the first time in my lifetime. I hope we did nothing wrong but that is beyond my control. Some are doing their best to steal the joy.

This is a bit late but, congratulations Fred. I really thought we were gonna beat you guys but oh well. I still despise your team, and I think Chizik couldn't tie his shoes without Malzahn around but all that aside....sincerely...good luck in the title game.
Has it ever come out for sure yet whether or not Mark Richt filed a complaint about Fairley??? I don't care about the Cam Newton crap...let him have his Heisman and go off to the pros, who cares. But Fairley is nothing but a POS who plays dirty...and it would serve him right if someone took him out intentionally like he keeps trying to do other players.

Fairley did plant his helmet in your QB's back and got flagged for it. That was the only questionable play I saw by Fairley in that game.

I just don't like him...he's dirty. Not just b/c he tried to take out Aaron Murray's knee...he's had complaints before. But I don't want to let one rogue player taint your team's entire season. God knows, we could've used a better season, LMFAO
By the way...Hibbett's Sports (if you have those where you are) apparently has Auburn SEC champ shirts...or so my neighbor says. She's still not really talking to me after the GA/Auburn game. *shrugs*
