I'm not the least bit surprised. I hope that they are severely punished, and this just further enforces the fact that welfare recipients should be audited / checked in on from time to time, to ensure continued eligibility.

Did you read the article? In case you missed it they haven't been charged with any crime. Another in case you missed it ... according to the article they " may have " used a loop hole. From what I know about the American judicial system if they could have charged them for something by now they would have. What that tells me is.... 1) so far they can't charge them because they haven't uncovered any crime.... yet. 2) they are working their ass off to find a crime that will fit a charge of some sort. :24:
