Being a fan of the franchise since I can remember sand it being the longest running Hanna Barbara cartoon, and not liking the two live action films already done I was sure I wasn't going to like The Mystery Begins AND I couldn't get into it. It seems to totally ignore the canon that was created linking What's New Scooby Doo to A Pup Named Scooby Doo, in which they were obviously a lot younger than high schoolers when they met. I sound like a total nerd but CN should be shot.

i can't get into them

they are all the same. even the intonation of the character's voices are the same at every point in every episode

they get scared. they decide to stay. they find the clues. scooby and shaggy screw up. they unmask the person and you never would have guessed it

and i have only watched it like three times.

Um I saw a commercial today for a generic version of the scooby live action movie (you know, the originals had Freddie Prinze and Sarah Michelle Gellar). Totally awful. It could have been better if it wasn't for those meddlin' kids.

the movie was boring I watched parts of it. And it doesn't go with the Franchise canon (timeline) set up by What's New Scooby Doo. What's New Scooby Doo tied in A Pup Named Scooby Doo by using the same animation style for a childhood flash back in one episode. And they were far younger than high schools in the cartoon. IJS.
