No, I'm not getting hyped up or spreading false rumors, but according to many people, including Darren Lynn Bousman, Mark Burg, and Oren Koules, there is, in fact, already plans for SAW V and SAW VI. As it was said by Mark Burg and Oren Koules, owners of Twisted Pictures, they have already got 3 scripts and plots laid out for SAW IV, but that's already been told. They also announced on the SAW III Unrated DVD commentary that they already have the plans and plots for SAW V and SAW VI(SAW 5 and SAW 6 in Roman Numerals) set, that way they won't have any plot holes(Or at least as little as possible) for SAW IV, SAW V, or SAW VI.
Now for my personal opinion. I like it. I'm not saying to put the series into a Friday The 13th, Nightmare On Elm Street, or even Halloween(Which only had about 6 or 7 films) look-a-like, but as long as the traps are fresh, creative, and you can continue the films without destroying John's legacy, I say let the mayhem live on!
