Today B-D scored more casting news for Lionsgate's Saw IV, which recently wrapped production last week. Today we learned that Sarain Boylan (pictured inside) will be playing Brenda in the film, which hits theaters October 26. In the film Jigsaw still haunts the living in Saw IV, forcing them to appreciate life, or face death. As a continuation of Saw III, Jeff must find his daughter and escape the building to which they are confined before they both die. After finding another tape of Jigsaw, Jeff realizes there may be a newly added piece of the puzzle that he must decipher before it’s too late.
Also, a message was recently posted by director Darren Bousman at House Of Jigsaw's Message Board:
YOOOOOOOOO!!!!! LONG TIME NO TALK!!!! Oh how I have missed you guys!!! But I... no WE are back and better than ever!!!!!
For starters... WOW - what a fucking ride SAW IV has been... Intense - crazy and gory as hell...
I am super excited as the next couple months pass as a lot of information will find it's way onto the web about SAW IV...
Believe me when I tell you we have some INSANE traps in store for you this year. As well as a few more tricks up our sleeve!
As I did in the past - I will start hanging out a lot more on HOJ and try to answer as many questions as I possibly can...
Currently I am sitting here in editing watching the opening of the movie... Hopefully if we pull this off right - - jaws will drop in the theatre... (fingers crossed)
In the meantime - while you wait for SAW go support HOSTEL II which opens this weekend! We need to show the world HORROR isn't going anywhere!
