I can't bring myself to pay for what I currently get for free. *shrugs* Used to there were no commercials on satellite radio, but now there are, aren't there???
It's great since I drive from one area to another every day and had to change stations all the time.
Plus the fact that if I want to listen to 80's music, I can. Hell, any type of music I want. And if something big is going on, there are loads of news channels like cnn, fox or cnbc.
My Sirius was free- a gift from one of the families I worked with. I dunno if I would pay the money to have it on my own. I listen to my iPod mostly...
I do like that I can listen to the 80's, 90's whatever and it's not terribly repetitive.
Hell, I heard Vanilla Ice, Marky Mark and the FUnky Bunch and MC Hammer all in the same day!!!
I actually listen to Sirius alot at home too. The stations around here are the same. I can drive from here to the corner store and hear the same song twice- insanity.
They are now the same company.....I have XM in one vehicle, Sirius in the other. Originally, I supported Sirius because they were new kids on the block and they were not XM who basically only supported GM products. Since the merger who cares anymore, I am thinking I am going to cancel them both and just use my MP3 player from now on.
