And I don't want to believe it, but too many things don't make sense.

Her 16 year old daughter is actually the mother of the baby in the family? How very Desperate Housewive-ish.


Dang. Sarah (who never looked pregnant) evidently went into labor after delivering a speech in Texas, but chose to take an 8-hour flight back to Alaska rather than going to the nearest hospital. Then drove 45 minutes to a remote hospital in the town that she was the Mayor of rather than going to the nearest (and better rated) hospital in Anchorage when they landed. At the same time, their 16-year old daughter missed 5 months of school due to mono.

If this is true, why not just tell the truth? She would earn much respect for loving her daughter and supporting her in a difficult time.

It's out there. I had my second baby at 37 and was considered high-risk. She's 44. Why would she make so many poor choices? You're not even supposed to fly in your third trimester. FFS.

so to buy into this then I suppose the doctor who delivered the baby and the techinicians and hospital that did the ultrasound that determined the fetus had downs syndrome were in on the conspiracy.:willy_nilly:

Willy. Whenever you hear a story like this you have to back up and realize how impossible it is. In order for this to be true, as Alien pointed out (which is amazing Alien got it right), there would need to be large numbers of people all involved in the "conpsiracy" and all sworn to secrecy--things work like that on a television program, they don't work like that in real life. Maybe if this baby was a normal healthy baby you "might" believe a story like that, but I can tell you the mathematical probability of that story being accurate give the kid has Down's Syndrome is zero. Consider that the likelihood of Down's Syndrome for a woman giving birth at age 44 is exponentially higher.

I love the "speculation" about why it's impossible this story could be true. I guess that remains to be seen. In reverse, if the Republican forum crew don't like whom your talking up they have all sorts of unsubstantiated grenades ready to lobbed on the moments notice and they don't think twice about it either. Not much of a fair standard, kinda like a conservative relfex don't ya know.

As to the rumor I guess you have dispense with reality to buy into it. There is no way it could be true without a massive conspiracy involving doctors, nurses and hospitals.

So you must be one of them conspiracy folks.

I said the same thing about the Obama story. Its basic mathematics tempered with logic (you should try it sometime). You would need a MASSIVE conspiracy with numerous individuals buying into it. Not to mention that Palin would have to "fake" a pregnancy while simultaneously hiding her daughters. Then, medical staff would all have to falsify medical records. Its ludicrous--its shit that could only happen on a television show (i.e., Desperate Houswives). Its so outlandish as to make the possibility as close to impossible as one can get.

Hey, if you want to believe that's actually possible, it says a lot more about you then it says about me. And it wouldn't surprise me in the least that you would buy into it. If a story broke that Palin was actually an alien from the planet mars I suspect you'd believe that too.

I'm so sorry. I just put this out for debate and discussion, not bashing.

I was more interested in knowing if people felt the rumors were true, if it would change their view of Ms. Palin, could they trust her, do they think McCain made the best choice, etc.

Sheesh, I wanted to hear your opinions, not get slapped with wet noodles.
